Hello, I’m Sarah Sue a solo momma to three beautiful children and the woman behind Whistling Sage. I live and create in the mountains of Montana. A self-taught artist I believe in creating hardware for your soul, by using my own two hands, fire, and reclaimed mixed metals. Slow + steady around these parts, that’s how I live and create. I was born and raised in rural Iowa. My influences come from the west, wilderness and I am deeply connected to the rivers that flow through this beautiful country are reflected in my art. I love watching my children explore and absorb life. On top of my daily responsibilities of a momma, a business owner, a full time soon to be Audiology Tech (Audiology Assistant) at Vibrant Hearing here in Missoula, I still find time to get outside and explore. Fly fishing, hiking, camping, and overall just doing anything outside.
